NEW CREEK, W.Va. — Mary M. Aronhalt, 86, of New Creek, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 at her residence.
Born on June 3, 1927 at Keyser, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Adam William and Bertha Ellen (Mackley) Plum. She also was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Virginia; a son, Ronald J. Aronhalt; and two brothers, Harvey and Alvin Plum.
Mrs. Aronhalt was a homemaker and was a member of Alkire Chapter 10, Order of the Eastern Star, Keyser.
Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Leroy K. Aronhalt; two daughter, Diana Lee Kane and husband Bill of New Creek and Connie Lou Rohrbaugh and husband Melvin of Burlington, W.Va.; one son, Richard L. Aronhalt and wife Mary of New Creek; two brothers, Wayne Plum of Headsville, W.Va. and Lawrence Plum of Keyser; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a great-great-grandchild "on the way."
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Alkire Chapter 10 O.E.S. will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Friday evening at 6 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Donna Leatherman officiating.
Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
