John Paul Schriver [Moab]

— MOAB, Utah — John Paul Schriver, 59, of Moab, formerly of Cumberland, Md., died May 11, 2011, at the home of his son, Cody in Moab.

Born Jan. 5, 1952, he was the son of the late Cecil L. and Mary (Martin) Schriver. A brother, Cecil Ronald Schriver, also preceded him in death in 2002.

Surviving are his wife, Trina (Skinner) Schriver, whom he married Dec. 4, 1976; two sons, Dusty Glen and wife Callie of New Mexico, and Cody L. Schriver of Moab; two daughters, Shay Schriver of Jacksonville, Fla., and Talena M. Schriver of Grand Junction, Colo.; four grandchildren, Nat-asha, Wyatt, Cooper and Dayton Schriver; one brother, William T. Schriver and wife Mary Ann of Cumberland; four sisters, Louise Walker of Altoona, Pa., Joanna Smith and husband Larry of Flintstone, Dorothy Natolly and husband John and Margaret Brakeall and husband Charlie, both of Cumberland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

At his request his body was cremated.
