RAWLINGS — Beatrice Fay (Michael) House, 70, of Rawlings, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at her daughter's residence surrounded by her family.
Born on May 30, 1942, at Antioch, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Alston and Myrtle “Tiny” (Leatherman) Michael. She also was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Eugene Hughes.
Mrs. House was a 1960 graduate of Petersburg High School and was employed with Sears & Roebuck for 30 years.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, James E. House Sr.; two children, James E. House Jr. and wife Michelle and April L. House and husband William Snoberger, all of Rawlings; one brother, Walter A. Michael and wife Linda, of Moorefield, W.Va.; one sister, Dorothy M. Hughes, of Antioch; three grandchildren, Amy Leah House-Lindeman and husband Christopher, of Keyser, W.Va., Jeffrey Tyler House, of Mount Savage and James Timothy House, of Rawlings; three stepgrandchildren, Uriah David Snoberger, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Aaron Michael Snoberger and wife Jessica, of Morgantown, W.Va. and Hayley Raschel Snoberger, of Keyser and three great-grandchildren, Chase Alexander House, Preston Michael House and Isabella Sky Lindeman, all of Keyser.
Services will be conducted in the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Roger Leatherman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Private inurnment will be in the Dawson Cemetery, Dawson.
