— SWANTON — Genevieve Mae Rinker, 84, of Swanton, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.

Born Oct. 8, 1928, in Jennings, she was the daughter of the late James and Bertha (Hoover) Wilt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Blaine Rinker; a brother, Paul “Pete” Wilt; and four sisters, Evelyn Beckman, Josephine Gaither, Doris Gilpin and Ruth Gilpin.

Mrs. Rinker was a housekeeper for Will-O-Wisp and a member of the Swanton Otterbein United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Richard B. Rinker and wife, Cindy; a daughter, Debbie Wilt and husband, Elmer “Smoke”; a brother, Homer Wilt, all of Swanton; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Barbara Rexrode officiating.

Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.
