RIDGELEY, W.Va. — Jamie Paul Crone, 37, of Ridgeley, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born March 27, 1975 in Cumberland, he was the son of Paul David Crone and Linda (Stottlemyer) Crone. Jamie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Evelyn Stottlemyer; his paternal grandfather, John Crone.
Jamie was an animal lover. He especially loved his cats. He also enjoyed photography, computers and working with electronics.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his two brothers, Devin Crone and wife Kelly, Ryan Crone and wife Cathy; nieces and nephews, Derek Crone, Kaylin Crone, Jacob Alderman, Kyrstin Myers, Brandon Myers and wife Stacey; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A., Cresaptown, on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m.
Jamie was able to donate his organs through The Living Legacy Foundation, so he was able to help others.
As per his request, after the funeral service he will be cremated.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Short Gap Volunteer Fire Department, RR 2 Box 146C, Keyser, WV 26726, the Union Rescue Mission, 16 Queen City Pavement, Cumberland, MD 21502 or an organization of the donor’s choice.
