OAKLAND — Mary A. (Kauffman) Nissley, 58, wife of Calvin Nissley Jr., of Oakland, passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at the Rubio Cancer Center, Tijuana, Mexico.
Born April 21, 1954 in Millersburg, Ohio, she is the daughter of Abe and Ella Kauffman, Oakland. She was preceded in death by one brother and two nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by one sister, Miriam (Abner) Swartzentruber, Oakland; five brothers, Wayne (Mattie) Kauffman, Oakland, Paul Kauffman, New Philadelphia, Ohio, Joseph (Abbie) Kauffman, Bedford, Pa., Abe (Sara) Kauffman Jr., Wytheville, Va., David (Linda) Kauffman, Woodleaf, N.C.; 34 nieces and nephews; 31 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends were received at the Loch Lynn Church of God on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Loch Lynn Church of God on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at 10 a.m. with James Peight officiating.
Interment will be in the Gortner Amish Church Cemetery.
The Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 203 S. Second St., Oakland, is in charge of the arrangements.
