— PETERSBURG, W.Va. — Maxine (Keplinger) Feaster, 88, of Petersburg, passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 at the Grant County Nursing Home.

She was born Feb. 14, 1924 at Maysville, W.Va. She was the daughter of the late Oscar Keplinger and Mamie (Park) Keplinger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellsworth Feaster on March 23, 2007; three sisters, Lurene Bridgen, Rhea Smith and Mildred Feaster.  

She had worked in the cafeteria at Petersburg High School and was a member of Grove Street United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Alt and husband Sonny of Keyser, W.Va. and Linda Smith and husband Thurman of Keyser; one son, Mike Feaster and wife Janet of Petersburg; three grandchildren, Susan (Alt) Wilson and husband Gary of Ashburn, Va., Tara (Feaster) Meehan and husband Chris of Lewisburg, W.Va. and Chase Feaster of Petersburg; two-great-grand-children, Alon Wilson and Aliya Wilson; two sisters, Verna Dell Rupert and husband Ed of Lanham and Mary Feaster and husband Wayne of Short Gap, W.Va.; one brother, Vernon Keplinger and wife Karen of Maysville, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg.

 Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at the Schaeffer Funeral Home Chapel, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William R. Brown and the Rev. Richard L. Longbon officiating.   

Internment will follow at the Lahmansville Cemetery, Lahmansville, W.Va.

 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Grant County Nursing Home, 127 Early Ave., Petersburg, WV 26847 or the Grove Street United Methodist Church, 4 Myrtle Ave., Petersburg, WV 26847.

 The family deeply appreciates the compassionate and loving care given to our Mother by the entire staff of the Grant County Nursing Home.
