CUMBERLAND — Mae Marilyn Bonner-Bennett, 95, of Cumberland, passed away Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Born April 6, 1918, in Peru, W,Va., Mrs. Bonner-Bennett was the daughter of the late Robert Giddeon Nazelrod and Blanche Kern (Smith) Nazelrod. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Bonner; her second husband, James Bennett; a son, Timothy Bonner; four brothers, Walter, Ernest, Robert, and Derl Nazelrod; three sisters, Catherine Brown, Fleurette Barger and Twilla Funk; a granddaughter, Vicki Lynn Green; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mae retired from the Lions Manor Nursing Home and was a member of the Holy Cross Saint Philips Episcopal Church. She was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 245 Ladies Auxiliary. Mae was also a member of the Ladies of the Moose; a lifetime member of the Bowman's Addition Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary; and volunteered at the Cumberland Senior Citizens.

Mae is survived by her sons, Dennis H. Bonner and wife, Linda and Claude E. Bonner and wife, Victoria, all of Cumberland; her daughters, Romona Werner and husband, Nate; T. Darlene Hutzell and Terry Lea Sacchetti, all of Cumberland; and her daughter-in-law, Betty Bonner. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Marilyn Barton, Traci Hutzell and spouse, Lisa Olszewski, Jim Hutzell and friend, Sarah DeCarlo, Todd Bonner and wife, Diane, Scott Bonner and wife, Missy, Amanda Miller and husband, Dale, Tim Sacchetti and wife, Becki, Staci Jenkins and husband, D.J., Tammy Derrick and husband, James, Doris Austin, Sheree Locascio and husband, Craig and Lana Washington; and her great-grandchildren, TeAndra Smith, Jared Barton, Tori Barton, Abby Bennett, Nathaniel Sacchetti, Makenzi Jenkins, Alexander Jenkins, Keaton Jenkins, Alyssa Bonner, Austin Bonner, McKenna Bonner, Jake Bonner, Parker Bonner, Christopher Austin, Morgan Austin, Joselyn Locascio, Bobby Washington, Jason Washington, Daxton Derrick, Ella Mae Derrick.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Theresa Brion officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
