WAUNNETTA M. “WILLIE” CAMPI [McCoole]

MCCOOLE — Waunnetta M. "Willie" Campi, 75, of McCoole, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Campi; three daughters, Deborah Guthrie and husband Rex of Kitzmiller, Catherine Sue Wolfe and companion Rick Cramer of Keyser, W.Va. and Susan Kay Taylor and friend Jack Richter of Cumberland; a stepdaughter, Lynnette Campi of California; 11 grandchildren, Keisha Sherman, Dustin Guthrie, Rick White, Wayne Mayhew, Tosha Mayhew, Christian Taylor, Melody Wolfe, Richard Cramer, Candy Smith, Kevin Smith and Cody Smith and 14 great-grandchildren, Elijah, Lyla, Aiden, Savannah, Gabriella, Gabriel, Landon, Jacob, Jayce, Tyler, Jordan, McKenzie, McKayla and Jeremiah. Following is a favorite poem of the family, "The Four Candles":

"The first candle represents our grief, the pain of losing you is great; It reminds us of the great love we feel for you. The second candle represents our courage to confront our sorrow, to comfort each other, to go on without you. The third candle represents the light you gave our lives, for the times we cried, for the times we were sad; for the times we were happy, for the caring and joy you gave us. The fourth candle represents the light of yours and our love, your light will always shine, your place in our hearts will always live. We thank you for your gift of living you brought to each of us. We will always love you and we will always remember you."

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
