Following is a favorite poem of the family, "The Four Candles":
"The first candle represents our grief, the pain of losing you is great; It reminds us of the great love we feel for you. The second candle represents our courage to confront our sorrow, to comfort each other, to go on without you. The third candle represents the light you gave our lives, for the times we cried, for the times we were sad; for the times we were happy, for the caring and joy you gave us. The fourth candle represents the light of yours and our love, your light will always shine, your place in our hearts will always live. We thank you for your gift of living you brought to each of us. We will always love you and we will always remember you."
