ARLENE I. ARNOLD [Petersburg, W.Va.]

PETERSBURG, W.Va. — Arlene Isabelle (Hebb) Arnold, 96, of Petersburg, W.Va., passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at the Grant County Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 6, 1916, in Tucker County, W.Va. and was a daughter of the late Harvey D. Hebb and Margaret (Mason) Hebb. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. Arnold in 1989 and five brothers, Harold, Herbert, Herman, Ray and John Walter Hebb.

Mrs. Arnold was a postal clerk for the United States Post Office in Cabins and Petersburg, W.Va.

Surviving are one son, William H. “Bill” Arnold and wife Jeanne, of Cabins, W.Va., grandchildren, Cindy Whetsell and husband David, Amy Berg and husband Marty and Robert Rexrode and wife Rachel; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Glenda Marshall, of Culver Ind. and one brother, Donald G. Hebb, of Terra Alta, W.Va.

A private, family burial will be in the South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens, Petersburg, W.Va.

A memorial service for Mrs. Arnold will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grant County Nursing Home Safe Harbor Fund, 127 Early Ave., Petersburg, WV 26847.
