A. BLAINE COSNER [Mount Storm, W.Va.]

MOUNT STORM, W.Va. — Aaron Blaine Cosner, 82, of Mount Storm, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 at his home.

He was born Oct. 17, 1931 in Bismarck, W.Va., and was a son of the late Aaron B. Cosner and Flossie M. (Moore) Cosner.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Harley Cosner; and brother-in –law, Vernon Hanlin.

Mr. Cosner was a retired truck driver and was a member of the Locust Grove Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed playing bluegrass music and was a member of the Sulfur City Strings.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth (Likens) Cosner; one son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Kim Cosner of Mount Storm; one grandson, Adam Cosner and wife, Amanda of Morgantown, W.Va.; one sister, Norma Hanlin of Mount Storm; two brothers,  Wardney Cosner of Mount Storm and Ronald L. Cosner of Elk Garden, W.Va.; sister-in-law, Doris “Sally” Cosner of Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive family and friends at the Locust Grove Church of the Brethren on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Funeral service will be Friday 11 a.m. Dec. 13, 2013 at the Locust Grove Church of the Brethren with the Rev. John E. Walker officiating.

Family will also receive friends on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Interment will be in the Likens-Cosner Family Cemetery at Bismarck, W.Va.
