FORT ASHBY, W.Va. — Debra Louise (Wigfield) Evans, 60, of Fort Ashby, passed away peacefully at home with her family on October 3, 2013.
Born on March 13, 1953, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Billy Wigfield and the late Wanda (Mullanex) Wigfield.
A 1971 graduate of Fort Hill High School, she was employed by Care First as a mail sorter.
Surviving is her husband, Ernest H. Evans, Fort Ashby; one daughter, Michelle Evans and fiance Michael Didawick, Fort Ashby; a son, Matthew Evans and wife Susan, Short Gap: one brother, Timothy Wigfield and fiance Trisha Wagoner, Fort Ashby; two grandchildren; Krystin and Kelsey Evans, Short Gap and two nieces, Katlyn and Sierra Wigfield, Fort Ashby.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. (www.scarpellifh.com) Cresaptown on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dan Dennison officiating.
Interment will be held in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Perkins, David Winfield, Charlie Coffman, Gary Wigfield, Troy Wagoner, and Ernie Hare.
