NEWARK, Ohio — A graveside service for Howard Horton Bennett, 85, of Newark, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at Fort Ashby Cemetery in Mineral County, W.Va.
Mr. Bennett passed away on Oct. 13, 2013 at the Selma Markowitz Center.
He was born on Nov. 9, 1927, to the late Howard Lee and Helen (Ramsey) Bennett in Fort Ashby.
He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Bennett-Clower and her husband Michael Clower of Bruceton Mills, W.Va.; step-son, Robert (Sue) Zeiher of Newark; step-daughters, Kandy Petrovic (Clayton) Leist of Milan, Ind. and Kelle Zeiher (Tom) Riley of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Bennett; and brother, William Earl Bennett.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.
