ROBERT E. “BOBBY”  WINTERS [Swanton]

CUMBERLAND — SWANTON — Robert Earl “Bobby” Winters, 67, of Swanton, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home.  

Born on April 21, 1946, in Keyser, W.Va., he was the son of the late Earl L. and Helen R. (Glass) Winters.  

He greatly enjoyed fishing and was known for being able to play the organ by ear. Bobby was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Swanton.   

He is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Snyder and husband Sam, of St. Augustine, Fla. and Barbara Sweitzer and husband Jim, of Swanton; two nieces, Kimberlie Rush, of Oakland and Andrea Turner, of Swanton; three nephews, Ed Snyder, of Jacksonville, Fla., Jeff Sweitzer, of Swanton and Jason Sweitzer, of Oakland and numerous great-nieces and nephews.  

Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St., Oakland, on Wednesday, May 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to noon.

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at noon in the funeral home with the Rev. Ross Glotfelty officiating.

Interment will follow in George Cemetery, Swanton.
