CUMBERLAND — Robert Earl Divelbliss, 66, of Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at the Martinsburg VA Hospital, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born May 13, 1947, in Hancock, Mr. Divelbliss was son of the late Merrill Edward Divelbliss, Sr. and Ethel Mae (Munday) Divelbliss. He was also preceded in death a brother, Merrill E. Divelbliss, Jr.
A United States Army Veteran during Vietnam, Mr. Divelbliss was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 172 and the Redman Club.
Mr. Divelbliss is survived by three sisters, Patricia A. Layton and husband, Pat, Cumberland, Gail L. Divelbliss-Sauer and husband, Jeff, Las Vegas, Nev., Lorraine M. Knotts and husband, Phil, Cumberland; his nephews, Jamie Layton and Kris Divelbliss; and his nieces, Rachel Knotts, Elisha Knotts, Zoe Knotts, and Shawna Layton.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Ted Marsh officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Hermon Cemetery.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 172 Honor Guard.
