— GRANTSVILLE — Emily Kathleen Spiker, 50, of Grantsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday, July 29, 2013, at her residence.

Born April 24, 1963 at Meyersdale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Helen (Firle) Holliday. Emily was preceded in death by one brother, David Wayne Holliday.

She was a homemaker and a member of Woodmen of the World, Lodge 41, Grantsville and loved her dogs, Ginger and Daisy.  Emily always put everyone first before herself.

Emily is survived by her companion, Edward Ross; one son, Travis Spiker and companion, Meggan Humberson, Grants-ville; three brothers, Thomas Frederick Holliday and Kenneth Paul Holliday, both of Grantsville, Robert James Holliday, Phillipsburg, N.J.; two sisters, Rose Marie Bernard, Springs, Pa., Wanda Kay Folk, Grantsville; and also a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ross Glotfelty officiating.

Interment will be in the Durst Cemetery.
