WILEY FORD, W.Va. — Ricky Dean Boner, 62, of Wiley Ford, passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at his home.
Born May 14, 1951, in South Bend, Ind., Mr. Boner was the son of Zelda Margaret Daly, Fort Ashby, W.Va., and the late John Wesley Boner. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Ray.
A graduate of Cassopolis High School in Michigan, Ricky worked for Bendix in South Bend, before moving to Rocky Mount, N.C., where he continued to work for Bendix. It was there married Sheila, prior to moving to West Virginia. Ricky was currently employed with Rubbermaid in Winchester.
Ricky is survived by his wife of 10 years, Sheila R. (Linn) Boner; his daughter, Christina Finnerty and husband, David, Boone Grove, Ind.; and his son: Ricky Boner of Indiana. He also leaves behind his step-daughters, Ronnie Snyder and husband, Clint, Cumberland, Wanda Crabtree and husband, Jay, Fort Ashby, and Misty Keister and fiancé, Brad Wilson, Wiley Ford; his sister, Sue Smith and husband, Gary, South Bend; his step-sisters, Linda Majors, Houston, Texas and Kathryn Wentland, South Bend; as well as numerous grandchildren; and his canine companion, Gizmo.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Ted Marsh officiating.
