— CUMBERLAND — Patricia Ann Raible, 67, of Cumberland, passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Born March 14, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Pa., Pat was the daughter of the late Robert Edward Seth and Margaret (Burns) Seth. She was also preceded in death by a stepmother, Ann (Griffin) Seth.

Being one of the first adult students, Pat graduated Summa Cum Laude from Allegany Community College with a degree in mental health and retired from the Western Maryland Health System after 28 years of service; proudly serving in managing volunteer services, hospital volunteers, Lifeline, Meals on Wheels, the Caring Fund and Patient Advocacy. She especially enjoyed helping the volunteers who generously gave their time to help their friends and community through the hospital.

Pat was an active member of the Church of Saint Patrick for 33 years. She volunteered in many capacities including the Parish Council, Lector, Religious Education, Marriage Preparation classes, the Eucharistic Ministry and holiday decorating. Pat also volunteered for the Ladies of Charity, Saint Mary’s Church and the Western Maryland Food Bank, including being a board member. After retiring, Pat volunteered at the Western Maryland Health System’s Information Desk, the Eucharistic Ministries, and the County United Way. She also enjoyed and dearly loved her children, grandchildren and friends. Pat enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking for her family and friends.

Pat is survived by her son, Pete Raible, of Los Angeles, Calif. and her daughters, Jenny Vought and husband Brian, of Frostburg and Kate Winfield and husband Derick, of Frostburg. She also leaves behind her brother, Bob Seth and wife Lani, of Hollywood, Fla.; her sisters, Sue Morcio and husband Joe, of West Seneca, N.Y. and Peggy Puskar, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; her grandchildren, Blaze Raible, Luke Vought, Audrey Winfield, Gunner Raible and Isaac Winfield as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, ( on Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. with Father Ed Hendricks officiating.
