— WILEY FORD, W.Va. — Lillia Belle Ayers, 100, of Wiley Ford, passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Golden Living Center.

Born April 23, 1913, in Mount Savage, Mrs. Ayers was the daughter of the late Andrew Leroy Goodrich and Matilda (Snyder) Goodrich. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Ayers, Oct. 16, 1971; a son-in-law, Bernard J. Reynolds, 2001; a sister, Anna M. (Goodrich) Carder, 1995; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Lillia Belle retired from the Celanese Fibers Corporation of America with 40 years of service and was a member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her gardening, her flowers, and being outdoors. Lillia Belle will be dearly missed.

Lillia Belle is survived by her daughter, Mary Elizabeth (Ayers) Reynolds, Cumberland; as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

A graveside service will be conducted at the Hillcrest Memorial Park on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Marsha Garrett officiating.
