SPRINGS, Pa. — Wayne George Kelley Jr., 65, of Springs, Pa., died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.
Born Nov. 27, 1947, in West Stewartstown, N.H., he was the son of the late Wayne and Ruth (Shute) Kelley Sr. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Kelley.
Mr. Kelley was the project manager for Hazen and Sawyer, New York, N.Y. and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Grantsville, Knights of Columbus, Queen City Region Antique Auto Club, Quad-State Bodgers and Grantsville Rotary Club, where he was named a Paul Harris Fellow.
He is survived by his wife, Donna A. (Wilhelm) Kelley; a son, Wayne Kelley III and companion Jennifer Lianos, of Center Harbor, N.H.; a daughter, Lisa Haigh and husband Adam, of Alpharetta, Ga.; a step-son, Aaron Holler and wife Jennifer, of Delmar; two step-daughters, Alena McKenzie and Lucinda Brenneman, both of Meyersdale; a brother, Clifton Kelley and wife Linda, of Meredith, N.H.; two sisters, Sylvia Keyser and husband Sonny, of Moultonboro, N.H. and Janet Brown and husband Hugh, of Keene, N.H.; three grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Military rites will be accorded at the funeral home Friday at 6 p.m. by the Grantsville Post 214, American Legion.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Ann Catholic Church on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ed Hendricks officiating. Cremation will follow services.
