HOPWOOD, Pa. — Kimberly A. Golden, 51, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1962, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Mary (Mitchell) Mehall, of Hopwood and the late Richard Mehall.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two sons, Justin Golden and wife Mallory Powers, of Ridgeley, W.Va. and James Golden, of Hopwood; one grandson, James Golden Jr.; one brother, Richard Mehall and wife Michelle, of Hopwood; her fiance Gary Kostelnick, of Uniontown and two nieces and a nephew, Bethany and Breanna Mehall and Rickie Mehall, all of Hopwood.
Kim was a member of St. George Maronite Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Laurel Highland High School and Waynesburg University. She was employed as a RN with Fayette Home Care and had owned Willow Tree Crafts Store.
Friends will be received in the Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home, Hopwood, Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday until 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Devine Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 6 Lebanon Terrace, with Father Sami Shaaya MLM as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s RC Cemetery.
Service of Ghinnaz will be held Monday at 3 p.m. followed the parish rosary in the funeral home.
The family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
