PURGITSVILLE, W.Va. — Autym Michelle Wolfe, 17, of Purgitsville, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Purgitsville.
Born on Dec. 27, 1995, at Petersburg, W.Va., she was a daughter of Robert D. Wilt II and fiancee Kristine Kennedy, of Mount Joy, Pa. and Jill M. (Stickley) Wolfe and husband Brian, of Purgitsville.
She was preceded in death by her step grandmother, Betty Wolfe; great-grandparents, Arville and Pauline Wilt, John and Catherine Stickley and Edgar Sions and two cousins, Andy Sions II and Joseph Kyle Helmick.
Autym was currently a senior at Moorefield High School where she was a touchdown girl with the Yellow Jackets football team. She was employed as a receptionist with Hahn Medical Practice in Moorefield and was a member of the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, Purgitsville. She loved deer hunting, shopping, going to the beach, horseback riding, swimming and boating.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two brothers, Zack Wolfe and Jordan “Waffle” Wolfe, both of Moorefield; her grandparents, Robert and Barbara Wilt, of Lost Creek, W.Va., Debbie and Kenny Davis, of Moorefield, Michael and Elaine Stickley, of Purgitsville and her great-grandmother, Nellie Sions, of Purgitsville.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, from 2 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Old Fields Baptist Church with the Rev. Judi Stump officiating. Friends may also call at the church one hour prior to the service.
Private interment will be in the Elijah High Cemetery, Purgitsville.
