ATLANTA, Ga. — Jim Kevin Kerr, 53, of Atlanta, formerly of Frostburg, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Northside Hospital, Atlanta.
Born on March 18, 1960 in Frostburg, to Charles E. “Chill” Kerr and Dorothy (Festerman) Kerr. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Craig Kerr and Charles Kerr.
Jim was an U.S. Air Force veteran and employed as an Engineer with A.T. & T.
Surviving are his brother, Jeff Kerr and wife Robin, Cumberland; special niece, Dana Denault and husband Tommy, Highland; nephew, Mark Kerr and wife Amy, niece, Carla Maust and husband Len; great-nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Jim was cremated in accordance with his wishes.
A memorial service will be held at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at 6 p.m., friends will be received one hour prior to service, with the Rev. Diane Smith officiating.
