KEYSER, W.Va. — Ret. Col. Milton E. Turner, 70, of Keyser, W.Va., formerly of Trigg Co., Ky., passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Kline Hospice Center in Mount Airy.
Ret. Col. Turner was retired from the Us Army, having served 26 years, during which time he served during the Vietnam Conflict. He also retired as a consultant for the health care industry. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was survived by his wife of 49 years, Margaret Cunningham Turner, of Keyser, W.Va.; mother, Dorothy Turner, of Murray, Ky.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Stephanie Turner, of Centerville and Mark and Gail Turner, of Waterford, Va.; one sister, Sherry Huddleston, of Cadiz, Ky.; brother-in-law, Ramey Cunningham, of Cadiz, Ky. and three grandchildren, Josh Turner, Casey Elizabeth Turner and Jacob Turner.
He was preceded in death by his father, Olin Edward Turner.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St., P.O. Box 2050, Cadiz, KY 42211 in Cadiz, Ky., where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Goodwin Funeral Home at Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at 10 a.m. with the Dr. Jimmy Gentry officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz, Ky.
