FAIRFAX, Va. — Anthony D. Sesow (Capt. USN, Ret.), of Fairfax, passed away suddenly on Sept. 6, 2012, of natural causes.
Beloved husband of 58 years to Mary Jo Ann Long Sesow; loving father of Timothy Sesow (Karen) and Elizabeth Sesow Wissler (John B. Wissler, Col., USAF, Ret.); cherished grandfather of John A., Joseph C. and Laurie L. Wissler and Matthew A. Sesow (Leslie) and Stephen M. Sesow; dear brother of Peter Sesow (Beverly) and William Sesow (Deborah); and also survived by a sister-in-law, Edna Sesow.
Born Sept. 23, 1930, in Peru, Vt., to the late John C. and Vinnie Wilder Sesow. Mr. Sesow served 29 years in the U.S. Navy as an aviator and intelligence officer. He was employed at PRC for 10 years after his retirement. He then was employed at H&R Block until his death. He was an active volunteer for the Boy Scouts, Wesley affordable housing, the ANA (Association of Naval Aviators), NIP (Naval Intelligence Professionals), Navy League and the Optimist Club. A scholarship in his honor was established by the Naval Intelligence Professionals.

Interment with full Navy honors will be held on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at 1 p.m. in Arlington National Cemetery. Please assemble at the Administration Building by 12:30 p.m.
