PAW PAW, W.Va. — Carl E. Creek, 83, of Paw Paw, W.Va., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at the home of his daughter, Ruby Walls while under the care of Hospice.
Born on Feb. 27, 1929, in Piney Grove, he was the son of the late David E. Creek and Margaret (Tyson) Creek. Carl was also preceded in death by his wife, R. Maxine (Hook) Creek, in 1986; four brothers, Albert, Homer, Howard and Walter Creek and two infant brothers. He was the last member of his immediate family.
He worked for Consolidated Orchards in Paw Paw until retirement. He was a veteran of the U S Army.
Surviving is a daughter, Ruby Walls and husband Grant of Slanesville, W.Va., two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, Paw Paw, W.Va., with Pastor Earl Travis officiating. Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
Interment will follow in Woodrow Cemetery, Paw Paw, W.Va.
