ALBERT F. O’BRIEN [Pittsgrove Township, N.J.]

— PITTSGROVE TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Albert F. O'Brien, 92, currently of Pittsgrove Township, N.J. and formerly of Piedmont, W.Va., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012.

The son of the late John and Agnes (Curran) O'Brien, Albert was a graduate of Piedmont High School and would go on to serve his country in the Navy during World War II. He would then further his education at Potomac State College and would graduate from the West Virginia University at Morgantown. Albert would ultimately go on to be president and owner of the United Resins Plant in Pittsgrove Township. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Elmer Hospital.

He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Sister Joan Agnes O'Brien, SSJ; his brothers, the Rev. Father John J. O'Brien and Thomas O'Brien and his companion, Kathryn Paulus.

Albert is survived by his sister, Margaret McCutcheon, of Frostburg; his niece, Mary Kay Shipley, of LaVale and two nephews, Chris Hannon (Wendy) of Cumberland and Robert Hannon (Helen), of Westernport.

A memorial service to celebrate Albert's life will be held at a later date.
