— MOUNT SAVAGE — George William Burall, 78, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2013 at his residence.

Born March 12, 1934, in Mount Savage, to the late George Elmer and Christine Charlotte (Crowe) Burall. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.

George retired from Chessie Railroad as a Track Foreman. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of V.F.W. Old Rail Post 6025, Mount Savage.

Surviving are his son, George E. Burall and wife Nancy, N. Richland Hills, Texas; former wife, Helga Elisabeth Burall, Strasburg, Va.; brother, Robert Burall, New Carrolton; sister, Gloria Mae Powers, Fredericksburg, Va.; and many numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George Harpold officiating. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service from noon until 1 p.m.

Interment will be held at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone.

Military honors will be accorded by V.F.W. Old Rail Post 6025 Honor Guard.
