DONALD R. JENKINS JR. [Frostburg]

FROSTBURG — Donald Roy Jenkins Jr., 47, of Frostburg, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2013, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Born March 28, 1965, in Elkton, he was the son of Mary Ann (Lindeman) Brandeberry and the late Donald Roy Jenkins Sr. He was also preceded in death by one cousin, Annette Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins was a correctional officer for WCI, Cresaptown. He was a member of the Wednesday Night Mixed League at The Bowler, Bassmasters and was a sports fan of the Terps, Orioles and Colts.

He is survived by his wife, Christine D. (Rosenberger) Jenkins; two sons, Joshua Bowen Jenkins and wife Mingi and Tyler Edward Jenkins; a daughter, Ashley Erin Jenkins; step-father, Don Brandeberrry; paternal grandmother, Hazel Jenkins; three cousins, Ricky, Roy and Teasa Jenkins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Karla Morgan and husband Rodney and Jeffrey Rosenberger and wife Amanda; father-in-law, Carl “Rosie” Rosenberger and wife Kathy; nieces and nephews, Donna Morgan, Justin Morgan, Caitie Rosenberger and Gracie Rosenberger and numerous aunts and uncles.

Friends will be received in the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Services will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Daniel Agnew and the Rev. Carolyn Pennick officiating.

Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
