— LAKELAND, Fla. — Vicki Lynne Sidaway King, 62, of Lakeland, died Dec. 2, 2012 due to complications of cancer.

Vicki was born Aug. 27, 1950 in Cumberland, to Alfred and Jacqueline (Easton) Sidaway and moved to Lakeland in 1972.

Vicki was employed with Crystal Corporation and retired as a manager with over 38 years of employment. She was a member of the Royal Order of the Moose, Lodge 1023 Winter Haven, and AM Vets Auxiliary, Post 32 Lakeland.

Vicki is preceded in death by her husband, Don King in 2009; her mother, Jackie; a son, Charles W. Leidinger Jr.; and a brother, William “Rocky” Sidaway.

Vicki is survived by her son, Brian (Becky) Leidinger of Lakeland; her father, A.L. Sidaway of Lakeland; her sisters, Judy (Leonard) Kirkland of Lakeland and Freda (Ron) Heavener of Keiser, W.Va.; her brothers, Larry (Bonnie) Sidaway of South Dakota and Jerry (Tammy) Sidaway of Ridgley; her grand-grandchildren, Greg (Jennifer) Leidinger of Lakeland and Lindsey Carr of Cumberland; her two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Lakeland Funeral Home where funeral services will be held 11 a.m.  Thursday.

Interment will take place in Oak Hill Burial Park.
