The Justice Department has a lot on its plate, I guess. Mr. Obama and Mr. Holder have to pick and choose what’s most important. You can’t please everyone.
The Obama administration has shelved the planned prosecution of Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, the alleged coordinator of the October 2000 suicide attack on the USS Cole. The case may never get to court. It has been about 10 years. The administration’s plan to try the accused plotter of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in federal court has stalled as well. That’s been nine years.
The important thing is that the case against Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Maricopa County, Ariz., is moving forward.
You can’t be all things to all people. But you could try to be all things to your own people.
Just a thought, Mr. President.
Think these over for yourself. No need to reply.
