Tell them how you feel about wind turbines

Do you really want 29 400-foot-plus wind turbines towering over one of our beautiful mountains from Midland to LaVale?

Do you realize that six acres of forest will have to be cleared for each turbine? Where will our wildlife go? Do you want the turbines to be here for the rest of your lifetime? Once they’re here they will stay. The 29 turbines now being discussed is only the first phase.

Make your opinion known. The Allegany County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing to approve or amend the regulations now being considered regarding wind turbines, March 19 at 7 p.m. Please plan to attend to voice your opinions on these regulations.
