For the past 10 or 12 years, the Piedmont Concerned Citizens Committee has placed flowers along Ashfield Street to add a note of beauty to our city. We have done the same for this summer.
Some of the flower barrels are in very poor condition, and need to be replaced. It is the committee’s hope that Piedmont citizens, and other who might like to help us, to make contributions towards the cost of replacing the half barrels.
Contributions towards this project may be made at the Piedmont First United Bank to our account. For further information, please all Mrs. Virginia DeMeritt at (304) 355-8825 or Rev. Harry Coleman (304) 355-2928.
