Goad has a better chance of being elected next time

To the Editor:
Cumberland Times-News

I would not give a penny for the chance of the county commissioners to get elected again. Only if we want to elect someone who cares more about control and trying to get the upper hand over the sheriff.

If they put half as much effort to taking care of the budget and trying to assist Sheriff Goad as they have about trying to make his life miserable then we would have the finest sheriff’s patrol in the state.

To the commissioners I say please do not even think about running for office again and to Sheriff Goad I say good luck and do not let them get you down. I am sure that you have a far better chance of being employed after the next election then those that are trying to give you a hard time.
