To the Editor:
With legislative proposals (and additional amendments to those proposals) soon forthcoming to attempt to eliminate fraud and abuse in West Virginia purchasing and administrative practices and culture, I also will be reintroducing a legislative proposal to enhance "Whistle-Blower" protections for those brave employees who discover and report government mismanagement. (see HB 2557, 2013 Session).
Penalties for government fraud and abuse should be both stringent and swift.
