Politicians should be ousted for violating the Constitution

It’s a sad day in America when elected officials knowingly violate the U.S. Constitution and are proud of it.

Maryland elected officials just passed more gun control laws that are in direct violation with the Constitution and they don’t care. Maybe they don’t care about the Constitution, but I sure do.

All the corrupt politicians that voted to pass this bill should be arrested and removed from office immediately for lying under oath. They all swore to honor the Constitution when they took office, not just the parts they like, but the entire Constitution.

If there are parts of this Constitution they don’t agree with then they shouldn’t be running for office in this country, we don’t want them here.

Every person and every politician in this country needs to read American Jurisprudence  16 Am. jur. 2d sec. 178. In short, it states: The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, having the form and the name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void and ineffective for any purpose. Any law that is in conflict with the Constitution is null and void.

These corrupt politicians, along with Maryland’s governor, know full well these laws violate the U.S. Constitution and still vote to pass them.

The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of this country, these politicians swore on the bible to honor it, but then turn around and try to dissect it for their own political agenda.

I’d like to remind them, this country was founded by brave men with guns, defended by brave men with guns and will be defended in the future by brave men with guns. Do you really want to anger 200 million gun owners in this country? Don’t make that mistake!

Beretta USA may move out of Maryland due to these gun laws. So, our politicians are not only violating the people’s Constitutional rights, they are running more business out of the state. I’ll bet you’re so proud of what you’ve done: 400 jobs may be lost and $31 million tax base may be gone.

Maryland, the Free State? No it’s Maryland, the Greed State.

The idea of fracturing for natural gas makes many people anxious about potential harmful effects. For that reason alone, it is incumbent on Maryland government to require full disclosure of chemicals used in the process.

I’d like to pose a theoretical scenario to Cal Thomas.

If a medical specialist said, “Cal, you’ve got a serious physical problem. Do nothing and you’ll die soon. Follow my prescription, which involves certain life-style changes, and there’s a good probability you’ll live, even if your life may be a bit more constrained than now.”

Without our veterans and those who made the ultimate sacrifice, where would America be today? It is anyone’s guess, however certainly not the Freedom and Liberty we enjoy.

Those of you who have been here before know how I feel about the late great Len Bias, who I will remember foremost as Leonard Bias, the polite, spindly Bambi-eyed kid from Hyattsville’s Northwestern High School, who could throw a dunk through the floor, yet had the most beautiful jump shot I have ever seen.
