To the Editor:
With all the problems and negativity of today’s world, it is nice to know that there are people in our community who still care.
My mother, Helen Eror, and her family would like to thank the people who showed their kindness and concern when she fell in Martin’s parking lot on Oct. 6.
Our mother is 92 years of age, and we are thankful that she was not injured or had any broken bones, just some bruising.
We wish to thank each person who willing gave up their time and effort to help our mother. Our gratitude goes out to the ambulance workers, the person calling 911, giving a blanket to cover her, the woman who knelt on her knees so our mom had a place to put her head and someone putting the remaining groceries in the car.
Our mother wants them to know that they were such a blessing and so very much appreciated. We will never forget their goodness. Thank you each and everyone of you!
