Does anyone remember late city resident Albert Parks?

— I am currently completing research on a planned biography of the Crow warrior White Swan. Official records indicate he died without family and one of the persistent rumors I’ve encountered is that he fathered a child with a white nurse.

Three different families have made such a claim. Recently, I was made aware of Albert Parks, better known as “Ti Kar Nak” or as he translated it “The Bent Knife.” Parks claimed to have been the first living son born to White Swan in Montana. Parks lived in Cumberland from the late 1960s until his death in 1982. I would appreciate any and all information about Parks from those in the area who knew him.

My email address is Thank you.
