Food again will be collected at city Homecoming Game

— Again this year at the Fort Hill/Allegany Homecoming, WTBO/WFRB Radio is sponsoring a food drive for the Interfaith Community Pantry.

Volunteers will be on hand at the game on Saturday, Nov. 9, to accept donations. Everyone attending the game is asked to bring nonperishable food items to donate. Cash donations also will be accepted with thanks.

The Interfaith Community Pantry exists to provide emergency food supplies to those in need in Cumberland. The pantry relies on financial donations and donations of nonperishable food from charitable organizations, churches and individuals throughout Allegany County.

The food drive at Homecoming is an excellent opportunity for the community to show its compassion and generosity and for the pantry to help restock its shelves for the winter to come.

The pantry volunteers are grateful and appreciative for the many in the community who continually support the pantry and its mission.
