Resident spreads holiday cheer along Decatur Street

— Everybody loves surprises. My husband, Ed, and I had purchased the trimmings for the flower basket that is on the light pole in front of our home on Decatur Street.

Due to an unexpected stay in the hospital, we did not get it decorated. On our way home after being discharged, we were pleasantly surprised to see the greenery in the baskets. The next mornng, the greenery was trimmed.

We phoned around, trying to find the angel who had performed this wonderful surprise. Not only did this gentleman trim the baskets, he purchased all the materials and completed all the baskets on Decatur Street from Baltimore Avenue to a little past Fulton Street.

Mr. Rich Toole, thank you!
