A bear tried on two different nights to get into a freezer full of corn on Old Tom's Hill Road near Flintstone, according to Wildlife Biologist Clarissa Harris with the Maryland Wildlife and Heritage Service. "The bear bent the lid on the freezer on (March 22) and beat it around the second night (March 23) after the owner had chained it."
