— LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission says Arkansas’ elk season ended with 34 elk taken by hunters on both public and private lands.

The commission says 13 elk were harvested on public lands such as wildlife management areas and that 21 were taken on private lands.

The two largest elk taken during the season were both taken on private lands.
