The Allegany County Office of the Sheriff regularly donates used brass to the Fort Hill Rifle and Pistol Club to help purchase equipment and supplies for the club’s Junior League. The league for young participants promotes safety and proper handling of firearms as well as shooting instruction. The brass is collected after officers shoot qualifying rounds with their handguns.

Some elk have way of dealing with chronic wasting disease
CHEYENNE - A 10-year study conducted by the University of Wyoming and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department suggests that the effects of chronic wasting disease on elk populations may not be as devastating as once believed.
