Opposes fishing license surcharge

Cumberland Times-News

— ANNAPOLIS — The Maryland Saltwater Sportfishing Association has gone on record opposing Senate Bill 525 in the Maryland General Assembly that would add a $10 surcharge to fishing licenses.

For example, an adult resident freshwater fishing license that now costs $20.50 would increase to $30.50.

MSSA has more than 7,000 members and 14 chapters.
