Bear Watch - 10/13/13

The number of bears to die on Maryland roads this year has risen to 30, according to an unofficial count maintained by the Cumberland Times-News.

On Oct. 5, a 44-pound female bear died on U.S. Route 219 at Glendale Road in Garrett County.
