5/15 - Death penalty panel forming

BALTIMORE - The Maryland Statistical Analysis Center of the Governor's Office of Crime Control and Prevention is seeking nominations from individuals interested in serving on the Maryland Commissioner on Capital Punishment.

The commission will study all aspects of the death penalty as currently and historically administered in the state.

A report on the work of the commission is due to the Maryland General Assembly on Dec. 15, 2008.
