6/23 - Police investigate man’s death

RIDGELEY, W.Va. — The death of a Ridgeley man who was found deceased on Potomac Street early Saturday is being investigated by West Virginia State Police.

Ridgeley Police Chief Mike Miller said there was no visible evidence of foul play or trauma. Autopsy results are being awaited from the West Virginia Medical Examiner’s Office as part of the continuing investigation.

The body was discovered by a passerby at about 4 a.m.
