7/3 - City man nabbed in alleged entries

CUMBERLAND — A city man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly entered a Browning Street residence.

Antwan T. Moorman, 20, was charged with first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary and possession of burglary tools following his arrest shortly before 11 a.m.

Following a bond hearing, Moorman was jailed in the Allegany County Detention Center in lieu of $40,000 bond.

Police said Moorman allegedly entered an unoccupied residence and then left after the tenant returned home. Witnesses said Moorman was “walking around the neighborhood looking in windows” before he was located in the area and taken into custody by police.
