10/17 - Garrett drug raid nets two arrests

Cumberland Times-News

OAKLAND — A warrant search of a Loch Lynn residence led to the arrest of two people by the Garrett County Narcotics Task Force.

Matthew A. Vecchioni and Rachel S. Vecchioni, both 26, were both charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of manufacturing equipment.

Following bond hearings, both defendants were released on their personal recognizance, pending trial in district court.

A quantity of dried marijuana plants, marijuana, digital scales and related marijuana-growing equipment were seized, police said.

The arrests were made Friday after the defendants turned themselves in to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office.
