Several burglaries in Garrett County - 11/14

— OAKLAND —  Burglaries of two businesses and two residences remain under investigation by the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office.

On Oct. 30, suspect(s) broke front glass doors to the Midway Liquors Store and Ari’s Pizza Shop on Weber Road at the Midway Plaza.

A .22-caliber Iver Johnson pistol was stolen from the liquor store, police said.

Sometime between Oct. 27 and Nov. 7, suspects entered a residence on Table Rock Road in Oakland. Numerous items were stolen including 60 boxes of various caliber ammunition, 25 knives and $850.

Police are also investigating the Oct. 16 burglary of an apartment along N Street in Mountain Lake Park. Prescription medication and more than $200 were stolen.
